Compilation of Agricultural Economic Survey (AES) 2024

The Central Statistics Agency has carried out the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (AES) on 1-30 June 2024 simultaneously throughout Indonesia, including in Pangkal Pinang City.

AES 2024 is a follow-up activity to the 2023 Agricultural Census which includes Individual Agricultural Businesses (IAB), Legal Entity Agricultural Businesses (LEAB), and Other Agricultural Businesses (OAB).

The main objective of AES 2024 is to obtain data on economic aspects of agricultural business units, including income, expenditure, cost structure, and welfare indicators of agricultural business units in Indonesia. Apart from that, AES 2024 also provides basic data to monitor several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators in the agricultural sector.
