Training for Producer Price Survey (SHP) officers in 2024

Pangkalpinang City BPS has carried out training for Producer Price Survey (SHP) officers in 2024. This survey was conducted to find out commodity information at the producer level. Monitoring of producer prices will be compiled in the form of the Producer Price Index (PPI).

PPI can be used as an early warning system for price fluctuations at the next price level. On the other hand, the PPI is used to support the preparation of the BPS Balance of Payments in calculating economic growth and as material for economic analysis.

The aim of carrying out this training activity is to equalize concepts for officers so that the implementation of the 2024 Producer Price Survey is in accordance with the SOP.
