February 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Pangkal Pinang City is 2.42 percent

·        ·  In February 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Pangkal Pinang City will be 2.42 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.42.

·        ·  Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index in almost all expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.32 percent; clothing and footwear group at 0.44 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.18 percent; health group at 9.10 percent; transportation group by 2.07 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.20 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.13 percent; education group at 0.59 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group amounted to 0.41 percent. On the other hand, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation or a decrease in the index were the supplies, equipment and routine household maintenance group at 0.84 percent and the personal care and other services group at 1.56 percent.

·        ·  The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate is 0.34 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 0.37 percent.
