Abstract

A. DEVELOPMENT OF EXPORTS

The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2020 was worth US $ 79.5 million, an increase of 8.47 percent compared to the export value in November 2019.
The export value of tin rose 20.64 percent, and non-tin decreased 42.86 percent (y-on-y).
Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the export value decreased by 10.33 percent. Tin exports fell 3.11 percent and non-tin exports fell 46.12 percent.
During January-November 2020, Singapore absorbed 17.49 percent (US $ 153.2 million) of tin exports, while China absorbed 21.18 percent (US $ 36.8 million) of non-tin exports.
The export value of animal / vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-November 2020 dominated by US $ 129.8 million or 74.61 percent of the total non-imported exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

B. IMPORT DEVELOPMENT

The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in November 2020 was US $ 0.26 million, down 82.33 percent compared to November 2019. Thus, imports from January to November 2020 became US $ 13.43 million.
As many as 80.81 percent of imports in January-November 2020 were non-oil and gas.
Non-oil and gas imports from January to November 2020 were dominated by machinery / mechanical aircraft (HS 84) amounting to 64.01 percent (US $ 6.95 million).
In January-November 2020, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 4.03 million (30.03 percent).
