Abstract

  • In March 2015 Pangkalpinang deflation of 0.46 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 117.77 after earlier also experienced deflation in February 2014, amounting to 0.89 percent of the CPI 118.32.
  • In March 2015 Pangkalpinang deflation of 0.46 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 117.77 after earlier also experienced deflation in February 2014, amounting to 0.89 percent of the CPI 118.32.
  • Deflation occurs due to the deterioration in the price indicated by the decline in the index in two groups namely foodstuffs expenditure of 4.65 percent and 0.51 percent of health groups. While four groups expenditure inflation that processed foods, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco by 2.31 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel 0.63 percent; clothing group by 0.05 percent; as well as transport, communications, and financial services 1.33 percent. Meanwhile, education, recreation, and sports stable.
