Pangkal Pinang City BPS Journalist & Statistics Community Forum

On Wednesday (11/12) BPS Pangkal Pinang City held a Journalist & Statistics Community Forum which was held in the BPS Pangkal Pinang City Meeting Room. This activity was opened directly by the Head of Pangkal Pinang City BPS, Mrs. Dewi Savitri and attended by print and online media, as well as academic representatives.

Within the framework of bureaucratic reform and building integrity zones towards Corruption Free Areas (WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Areas (WBBM), Pangkal Pinang City BPS continues to strive to improve public services to all data users, including journalists and academics who are now an important part of Statistical Community.

Apart from the Journalist Forum activities, BPS Pangkal Pinang City also carried out a soft launching of the Komstat Portal as well as the first trial for external groups, namely journalists and academics. This community was built with one big goal: increasing data user involvement or user engagement. We want to build better relationships with data users, not only providing accurate and relevant data, but also providing a deep understanding of statistical literacy.
