Presentation of Pangkal Pinang City Poverty Figures 2024

Wednesday 24 July 2024, Head of the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of Pangkalpinang City, Mrs. Dewi Savitri and the work team delivered the results of the release of poverty and employment figures to Mrs. PJ Mayor, Lusje Anneke Tabalujan.

The percentage of poor people in March 2024 was 4.04 percent, down from 4.27 percent in March 2023. On the other hand, unemployment in August 2023 fell 0.14 percent to 5.76 percent.

PJ Mayor Lusje Anneke Tabalujan welcomed the results of the release and conveyed several strategic steps that needed to be taken by her staff in the Pangkalpinang City Government. Present on this occasion were the Acting Head of the Pangkal Pinang City Manpower Service, Amrah Sakti and the Head of the Research and Development Division of Pangkal Pinang City Bapperida, Nurwasya.
