Quarter III Cost of Living Survey Enumeration at BPS Pangkalpinang City

Starting on July 1, yesterday, the census of the Quarter III Cost of Living Survey at the BPS Pangkalpinang City was carried out simultaneously. The cost of living survey is a data collection that aims to obtain commodity packages and consumption of food and non-food communities. Let us provide real data to assist development policies in our area.

The SBH 2022 survey was conducted to obtain an overview of public consumption patterns as material for the preparation of the weighing chart and new commodity packages in calculating the consumer price index (CPI).

The data from the Cost of Living Survey will later be used to replace the current base year for calculating inflation, 2018, because the base year used is quite old.
