2021 Corn KSA Survey

Tuesday, January 26, 2021, BPS Pangkalpinang City conducted the Corn KSA Survey. This time, the Bangka Belitung Islands Province BPS and the Pangkalpinang City Food & Agriculture Service were also present.

The Integrated Statistical Collection of Food Crops using the 2021 Area Sample Framework (KSA 2021) method for maize crops aims to obtain more accurate and timely data on maize harvested area.

Area Sample Framework is a collection of sample areas (segments) with a certain size in an administrative area that represents a population (agricultural/rice field area). This survey was conducted through direct observation of objects in the sample segment (areas/locations visited and surveyed had a regular/square shape with a size of 100 m x 100 m and were chosen randomly, the location was fixed and could not be moved).
