Focus Group Discussion About Pangkalpinang in Figure Publication

BPS and representatives from Pangkalpinang local government institutions / vertical institutions conducted Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in order to discuss sector data to be published by BPS through Pangkalpinang in Figure 2017 publication which will be released on 16 August 2017.

Objectives of this FGD activity are to produce sectoral data with high integrity in response to sustainable development challenges, improve sectoral statistical coordination among regional instruments (OPD) in Pangkalpinang Municipality, and checking of publication data of Pangkalpinang In Figures 2017 before release.

 In this activity, there were some presentations on the publication of Pangkalpinang Dalam Angka, the legal basis and other BPS activities involving government agencies hosted by BPS Head of Pangkalpinang Municipality, I Ketut Mertayasa and also the presentation of sectoral statistics from the Head of Kominfo, Donal Tampubolon and Moderated by Nurwansyah from BAPPEDA.

 With FGD activities, we hoped that synergy, especially between BPS and government institutions in producing quality, valid and accurate data for publication of Pangkalpinang in Figure so that it can be used as right data source for government policy, especially Pangkalpinang Municipality.
